Grad school starts on Monday. MONDAY! Eeek! After I signed over my check of $800 plus $103 for the one class and one textbook I started having second thoughts. Do I really want to do this? Do I really need a master's? Is the pay off going to be worth it?

Decisions. Hate 'em.

Maybe I should try another field. How do I know that I wouldn't like something else better? There's so much out there... am I limiting myself my getting another pretty limiting degree?

I have a mouse in my house.

Is there really any point in writing here anymore? Hmmm. It just isn't the same as the ol' jullabee. I figure if anyone cares to know how or what I'm doing, they'll call.

I think I've been convinced to sell my bonnaroo ticket. After the horror that was Saturday, I don't know if I'll be able to make it through a 3 day festival especially if I have the cast on still. Sadness. But it may be for the better.

1. The WB's Superstar USA is by far the best and meanest show ever. It's opposite American Idol only the contestants don't know. So funny, so great, so mean. Love it.

2. I just took apart my stero. I had about 16 screws to take out, three huge pieces, and was convinced I'd never be able to get it back together. The good news is I did rescue the five cds that were being held hostage AND I did get it back together, bad news is that it still isn't working. But I feel accomplished anyway.

Danny Devito is so small he could fit in my pocket. Along with Tim Reynolds. Wow, there's beginning to be quite the party in my pocket.

I need a date tonight to a dinner party, preferably someone who can carry me around so I don't have to use the crutches.

Friiiiiday weeeeeee!

Nic and I are getting along wonderfully. He's a great kid. We've got our routine down and every has been running very smoothly. He's not even complaining about having to do his homework anymore.

Our next project involves shrubs, but I think I'll hold out until Monday for that. The neighbor just got a big trampoline and we've both been patiently waiting for our turn to jump. So this afternoon, jumping we will be. And then off to happy hour for me. He asked if he could come over and hang out on Saturday for a while too, I have to talk to his mother about that first.

Today is half over, excitement.

I look cute today which in turn puts me in a good mood. Yesterday wasn't so much of a good day, though, the pressure of everything is building. I take on too much sometimes. My new current activity is painting my little house with a 14 year old boy after school. That sounds way more naughty than it is. It's part of an after school program I'm helping with where we each get a kid 3 days a week for a couple of hours. I think I got pretty lucky because he was more than excited to help me paint and afterwards I take him out to dinner of his choice. It's a good deal, keeps him out of trouble for the time being. I don't know what we'll do after the painting is done. A little yard work? Free labor!

Along with the after school program, I'm still doing the community center for special needs. Tonight we're having a little cinco de mayo social for them. Hopefully I'll get out early enough to attend some festivities of my own.

I love living alone!

I just got a promotion at work, making it even harder to leave.
